First introduced in the 2019-2020 Fall Semester, ESTÜ 104 Academic Success and Life Skills is a 3 ECTS elective course designed for newly enrolled associate and undergraduate students. The course aims to equip students with essential skills frequently needed in both academic and social life, enhancing their practical application.
What does the course cover?
ESTÜ 104 focuses on developing:
- Institutional belonging and self-awareness,
- Understanding the external world and harmonizing personal and external expectations,
- Goal setting and time management,
- Effective verbal and written communication,
- Conflict resolution and stress management,
- Presentation and public speaking skills.
The course methodology includes group work, role-playing, interactive exercises, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance student engagement and skill development.
Who can take ESTÜ 104?
Only students in their 1st or 2nd semester of associate or undergraduate programs are eligible to enroll in the course.
